Monsters under the bed

For whatever reason, our youngest, Torpedo has started to believe that monsters are real and that they live under Banshee’s bed (they share a room).

Because of these fictitious beings, bedtime has been a bit of a rollercoaster.

The other night, Banshee tip-toed into her room to snag her sleep mask that she left, and when she did, Torpedo quietly said, “Banshee”.

Banshee looked around and freaked out because Torpedo was literally under her (Banshee’s) bed calling out her name.

Then Torpedo begins screaming that there are monsters under the bed and running out of her room in response.

Y’all.

Torpedo is literally the monster she is scared of.

I can’t even make this up.

Then the other night, Brent went in to tuck Banshee in for bed and couldn’t find Torpedo.

He looked high and low – basement, sister’s beds, bathrooms, etc.

Nothing.

Torpedo was sleeping UNDERNEATH Banshee’s bed.

Here’s our monster folks.

Stone cold asleep.

Under the bed that apparently houses the bedroom monster.

Absolutely asleep

I can’t understand this chick sometimes.

But also, 3 year olds are not rational, and therefore make little to no sense.
